2024 has been a stand-out year for railing projects supplied by Q-railing, from ensuring GP surgeries have the correct and safe glass balustrade, completing new homes with stylish Juliet balconies and even supplying the brand new Everton football stadium! From Shattered to Safe - Glass balustrade that helps to save lives in Devon GP surgery

Product: Easy Glass MOD 0748

Solution: Our customer was asked to repair glass balustrade that had been smashed due to vandalism at East Trees Health Centre in Bristol. Easy Glass MOD 0748 with a bespoke pre-fabricated 48mm stainless steel handrail curved by Q-railing was chosen as the product solution to provide safety and allow the health centre to reopen quickly to medical professionals and their patients.

Stunning New Home for the Toffees - 1.6km Glass Balustrade for new Everton Football Stadium

Product: Easy Glass Max, Strong & Prime

Architect: BDP Pattern Architects

Contractor/Installer: R&R Engineering & Lily Engineering Ltd

Solution: The Q-railing Architectural Sales originally worked on the technical specification with BDP Architects and then later closely with contractors R&R Engineering and installers Lily Engineering to provide 1.6km of frameless glass balustrade including 74 vomitories, 11 escalators and providing safety and uninterrupted views across the whole stadium. Everton Football Stadium, will be ready to welcome fans in summer 2025.

Uninterrupted Views - Juliet Balconies for Staffordshire Home Renovation

Product: Easy Glass View

Installer: NU Balustrades

Solution: After visiting the Stoke-on-Trent based Q-railing showroom, the customer chose Easy Glass View Juliet Balconies to complete his new master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, providing a seamless integration with his floor to ceiling sliding doors. The aluminium frames were powder-coated to match and created an invisible and uninterrupted view of the Staffordshire countryside. We worked with local railing and glass installers NU Balustrades to provide a full-service solution.

Public Spaces & Apartments Brought to Life - Lotts Road KC3, Chelsea Power Station 

Product: Glass Balustrade, Square-line, Q-lights LED

Contractor: McMullen Facades Limited & Midgard Ltd

Solution: Q-railing worked closely with the architects and contractors to specify Easy Glass balconies for Lotts Road KC3 apartments at the Chelsea Power Station. From the first site meeting back in 2022 & installing the benchmark balcony, the full envelope is complete with glass balconies and terraces complementing the historic features of the old power station and now being occupied by residents.

Q-railing have also been involved in the regeneration of Battersea Power Station for many years, including providing Square-line & Q-lights LED for the Riverboat Pier, a combination of 60x30 Q-Line system, Easy Glass Max Channel for 3kN glass balustrades, and a custom curved handrail with integrated LED lights, adding modern elegance to Malaysia Square.
