• Glass railing with stainless steel posts: A post railing with glass infill is a stable, durable and versatile solution. By combining individual elements from our different series for post railings, numerous individual design options are available here. The stainless steel posts can be supplied in various designs so that they can be optimally adapted to the structural conditions. With these flexible options for components, you can design your railing according to your personal preferences and requirements.
• Aluminium railings with glass infill: Aluminium railings with glass infill not only offer a cost-efficient and low-maintenance solution, but also enable the prefabrication of entire modules. Due to the prefabrication of the modules the railing can be installed a lot quicker and more efficiently.
• Balustrades with glass frame tubes: A railing with glass frame tubes impresses with its straight-lined appearance. The glass elements are attached to the railing post with stainless steel tubes and stainless steel brackets, resulting in a clear and modern look.
• Juliet balconies – chest rails: Fall protection at floor-to-ceiling windows is often called a "Juliet balcony". This is attached directly in front of or on top of the window instead of a conventional balcony and thus offers safe protection. In the case of floor-to-ceiling windows, fall protection is required by law. Glass railings are the ideal solution here, as they are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also extremely robust and durable. The use of high-quality safety glass also ensures maximum safety. The glass railing blends in with the façade and lets plenty of light into the room.

Our different mounting options for stylish glass balustrades

There are various options to mount a glass balustrade, with considerations including the customer’s requirements and applicable building regulations. Here are the most common types:

• Top-mounted base channels: For top-mounted installation with base channels, it is important that the base channel is selected according to the load of the glass railing. Q-railing offers a wide range of base profiles for different applications, from light to extremely high loads, to meet individual needs and requirements. • Fascia mounting: Fitting a profile to the side of the building ensures that no extra space is needed on the balcony or terrace. This allows for maximum usable space and extends the living space outdoors.
• Mounting the glass infills with glass clamps, base glass clamps and glass adapters: With this method, the glass clamps are used to fix the glass panels to stainless steel posts or a wall, for example. The floor glass clamps, on the other hand, are bolted to the floor and secure the glass panels from below. In addition to glass clamps and floor glass clamps, there are also glass adapters where the clamps are located in the glass panel.
