Quick installation

The entire glass balustrade installs very quickly. Once you have anchored the base channel to the floor and inserted the inlay, the outer rubber and the glass panel, you position the Q-discs between the glass and the inlays. You will hear a click to confirm that the disc is in place. To secure the glass, tighten the discs using the Q-tool and a torque wrench. Finally, simply add the rubber insert alongside the glass.

FAQ

How does Easy Glass Smart+ differ from the previous version, Easy Glass Smart?

Easy Glass Smart+ is a glass balustrade system designed for homes and shops. It is an evolution of the Easy Glass Smart system featuring a slightly larger base channel. With Easy Glass Smart, it was already possible to use glass panels of up to 21.52 mm thickness. However, the angle of these panels could not be adjusted with the Q-disc. With the slightly enlarged base channel of the Easy Glass Smart+ system, this is now easily possible.

How does the Q-disc System work in Easy Glass Smart+?

The Q-disc System allows for quick installation and precise alignment of glass panels. Before tightening the Q-discs, you can use the special tool to move the inlay, realigning the glass by up to 0.6 degrees. Once you are happy with the alignment, tighten the Q-discs to fix the glass in place.

Can glass installation and alignment be carried out from the balcony?

Yes, the Easy Glass Smart+ system allows glass installation and alignment to be conveniently carried out from inside the balustrade.

What range of glass thicknesses can the Easy Glass Smart+ system accommodate?

The Easy Glass Smart+ system can accommodate glass panels with a thickness between 16.76 mm and 21.52 mm.

Can the glass panels easily be replaced if they are damaged?

Yes, the Easy Glass Smart+ system is designed to facilitate easy replacement of glass panels if needed. The modular design simplifies maintenance.

Can the Easy Glass Smart+ system be used in coastal areas where there is high salt exposure?

Yes, the Easy Glass Smart+ system is suitable for coastal environments. The materials used, such as aluminium, are known for their corrosion resistance, making the system highly suitable for salty conditions.
